In 2009 after many years as a Juice Plus+ National Marketing Director, Karen Jones, became the West Coast Regional Director of Sales. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in clinical psychology, she brings 30 years of clinical experience to the table. Karen addresses the business of wellness through her motivational and business coaching, working with entrepreneurs, direct sellers and medical practices. She trains internationally on team building, personal growth and behavioral change, and is co-author of Inspiration to Realization, Vol. 2, & 101 Ways to Improve Your Life, Volume 2. For 19 years, Karen was the Director of Psychological Services at the Orange County Center for Special Immunology. She is an internationally recognized lecturer in the fields of psychoneuroimmunology, multidisciplinary medical marketing, medication adherence, and the psycho-social aspects of chronic illnesses, including MS, HIV and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She is a published researcher, presenting the results of her work in the areas of neuropsychology, psychological testing, alcoholism, and attitudes towards women with HIV, at the annual conferences of the American Psychological Association, the International AIDS Conference, and The National Council on Alcoholism. Karen is an award winning philanthropic leader in California, instrumental in the formative years of AIDS education, and the delivery of healthcare services, founding the Laguna Beach HIV Commission, and the Women's HIV Task Force, along with her dedication to many other HIV/AIDS agencies over a 15 year period. In 1992, she was honored as South Coast Woman of the Year. In 1998, the City Council of Laguna Beach, a city which for 15 years demonstrated the highest per capita incidence of AIDS in the nation, presented Karen with the first citywide proclamation awarded to an individual citizen for her tireless commitment to public health education.
