"There
is a very special emotional magic that happens when we design the future and
set new goals with a specific purpose in mind." - Jim Rohn
Having a 90 Day Game Plan mindset ensures success - it's been key to the success of the UK GenYers, and to many of the most successful people in Juice Plus+ over the
years. If you want that mindset I strongly suggest you watch this video and study the
HLR 90 Day Game Plan - even if you don't want
use the HRL system, or be that committed, or work
that hard (work?! hard?!), there are lots of gems there.
Any 90 Day Game Plan should include learning and employing this brand new
tool/process: The Care Funnel. The elements are not new, but the Funnel packages them into a
very visual form. The two recorded calls there by Julie Herbst are excellent!
How to Mentally Prepare for 90 Days of Success
When tackling a goal, preparing yourself mentally is crucial to accomplishing
that goal.
Let’s get ready:
• Establish and project an unshakeable confidence that you’ll achieve your
goal. Absolutely imperative!! Even if you don’t have genuine confidence in the
beginning, “fake it ‘til you make it.” Achieving your goal should not be in
question; think of it as something that WILL happen no matter what. Projecting
this idea onto others will make them want to follow you because we are
naturally attracted to those who are successful.
• Get used to being uncomfortable and excel in it. Remaining in your comfort
zone and stepping away from every risk will not get you very far as an
entrepreneur. Embrace those aspects of your business that cause you a bit of
discomfort. Feel uneasy asking for referrals? Do it as often as possible in as
many ways as you can think of. Dread the phone calls to follow up with a
prospective hostess? Make those calls a strength of yours. After awhile,
you’ll come to recognize this discomfort as an opportunity for big success and
you’ll excel in trying new things all the time.
• Always keep moving forward and never give up. Accept the fact that there
will be setbacks, you will experience frustrations, and you may even consider
throwing in the towel. Tough times can truly test your resolve so do not even
consider giving up for a second. If you make a mistake, fix it and learn from
it. If you lose your motivation, set new goals that reignite your ambition.
Use all the resources at your disposal to move your business forward, learn
and grow as a professional, and see your goals come to fruition.
• Go all in 100%. Everything you do in your business should be done with every
ounce of effort you possess. Whether you want to make this business your
full-time job with a full-time income or you want it provide just a little bit
of extra wiggle room when you pay your bills each month, put in 100%. If you
only go halfway and find that it is not working out the way you want, you’ll
never know what your true potential is.
If you are committed to doing all of these, then you are ready to build a
successful business and all the ups and downs that come with it. Just as an
athlete stretches before a game or a piano player runs scales before a
concert, you must put in the preparation required to run your business.

Use our Monthly Coaching Program to help you succeed and keep
you accountable.
Why
set 90-Day Goals? Four reasons:
-
To identify what you want to accomplish.
-
To help you focus on what matters most.
-
To make sure that you and your sponsor/coach are in agreement regarding your priorities.
-
To provide you with accountability.
Let me point out several important things about these objectives:
-
They are few in number. Productivity studies show that you really can't
focus on more than 5-7 items at any one time. Don't try to impress your supervisor or yourself with a long list of
objectives. Also, please don't include sections with several objectives under each section. This is a recipe for
losing focus and accomplishing very little. Instead, focus on a handful of objectives that you can almost repeat
from memory. Mine fit on one 3" x 5" card. I put my work objectives on one side and my personal objectives on the
other.
-
They are action-oriented. In order for you to act on your objective,
it must be actionable. Notice that each objective begins with a verb
(e.g., "Achieve," "Finalize," "Complete," etc.).
-
They are measurable. You should be able to sit down with your supervisor in
90-Days and determine whether or not you accomplished the objective. Remember: you can't manage what you don't
measure.
-
They are attainable. Don't attempt to do more than you can realistically
accomplish in 90-Days. This may be debatable, but, hopefully, over time, you will become more and more realistic
while still pushing yourself to stretch.
-
They are time-bound. Since these are 90-day objectives,
you should began by asking yourself the question, for example, What do I want to accomplish by
September 30th?
-
They are prioritized. Your most important objective should go at the top of
the list. Your second most important objective should go next and so on.
If you have never done this before,
you won't believe the focus that this will bring to your life - look at
your goals every day. You can also pray over each objective. I know my limitations and am
very much aware that I can't accomplish what I believe I am supposed to do without God's help. (If you can
accomplish an objective without
God's help, you're not thinking big enough!)
If you have never tried this before, I want to challenge you to give it a shot. In fact, I double-dog
dare you. Call it "Your 90-Day Game Plan." Write your goals down, and make them happen.
