The 2023 edition of our Fall Festival is our 7th Annual!
This year we are again combining our traditional Trail Races, Mountain Bike Races and The Amazing Race with more daytime fun for all ages, bike, equipment and clothing vendors, food trucks to feed us, and much more. Capital St., the heart of the Festival, will again be closed to traffic (see below.)
Athletically inclined? What are you into? We have something for everyone. So put us on your calendar, and …register (just select the event of your choice above)! If you are not into the ‘races’, there is plenty more to get excited about.
As always, the mountain bike events will support local non-profit The Cycle Effect whose mission is to empower young women through mountain biking to create brighter futures and build stronger communities. TCE will be conducting a Women’s Bike Clinic on Saturday morning.

Families are foremost in our plans, so we will add more fun stuff to our schedule including, as in 2022, strider races (for 4-and-unders), short sprints (10-and-under) plus hands-on activities for kiddos.
Kids love big trucks. They also love sirens and horns and buttons to push. And police officers, firefighters, helo pilots, emergency medical technicians and those who operate big rigs and large machinery like backhoes and snowcats certainly love showing off their vehicles to wide-eyed youngsters.
We’ll see you back here on Saturday September 16th, if not before!
PS: people ask “why RATS?” Answer: because we “Race Across The Sky“. We are a bunch of happy trail rats anyway!
